Simple Fundraising Ltd take the issue of privacy very seriously.

Consequently, our privacy policy is stated below in plain English.

General

We never make e-mail addresses, phone numbers, contact details or any information available to another organisation.

In the event that you or your supporters use this site to send a contact message, names and e-mail addresses will be sent along with the message so that responses can be sent.

With respect to mobile phone numbers, Simple Fundraising Ltd manage the emergency SMS service on behalf of your organisation. Phone numbers are never disclosed to a 3rd party, nor are they accessible by your organisation.

We do not partner with or have any relationships with any ad server companies.

Cookies

A cookie is a unique identification number that is stored by your computer.

Cookies are non-invasive and allow this site to enable personalised settings (e.g. your supporters "personal space") and allow your organisation to be credited by the shops/retailers for any purchases that are made via your website.

This site does use cookies for the following purposes only:

  • to provide your supporters with a personalised greeting
  • to allow your supporters to customise the "Your Personal Space" area
  • to track which shops/retailers have been visited from the shopping directory. Note that the only information that is recorded is that your supporters have visited the retailers site and this information is simply aggregated to provide a total 'counter'. Details pertaining to individual purchases or enquiries are not recorded, stored or otherwise made available

Your Supporters' Searches

This site incorporates the Google search engine, enabling your supporters to effortlessly search the internet.

We do not record, track, store or in any way have access to the searches that are made with Google.

Incorporating Google and other useful tools into your fundraising website ensures that as many of your supporters as possible will make your fundraising website their "home page" thereby increasing the likelihood of increased income.

Your Supporters' Purchases

When your supporters make a purchase with one of the shops/retailers via the Shopping Directory we do not have the ability to record, track, store or otherwise gain access to details pertaining to your transactions.

When your supporters make a purchase from a shop/retailer, that shop/retailer simply credit your organisation (via Simple Fundraising Ltd) with the appropriate amount of commission. No details relating to your supporter or their transaction are provided - we simply know that a particular retailer has credited your organisation with a certain amount.

Management Information

All information that is collected from your supporters is done so in a de-personalised way. In other words, all management information reporting available to you is undertaken at an aggregate level.

For example, you will be able to know how many people are supporting you and how much money each shop/retailer has paid you.

You will not be able to determine which individual purchase which item at a certain retailer.

Similarly, in the peer-group comparison report, you will be able to see your organisation's performance against similar organisations, but you will not be able to see details for an individual organisation.

Physical & Virtual Security

Simple Fundraising Ltd have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that is stored on our systems.

Furthermore, all data held on our web servers is encrypted to ensure against unauthorised access.
